John joined Sawtooth Law Offices in 2021 after spending over two years working as legal counsel in the Idaho Governor’s Office of Species Conservation. Immediately following law school, he completed a legal fellowship with Agri Beef in Boise. John earned his law degree from Lewis and Clark Law School in 2018 with a certificate in Natural Resources, Environmental, and Energy Law. Prior to law school, he earned his undergraduate degree in Political Economy from the College of Idaho in 2015.
John was raised on an Idaho ranch in Owyhee County where he developed a deep appreciation for agriculture and rural lifestyles. When not in the office, he enjoys working on his house, recreating in Idaho’s great outdoors, and getting back out to his family’s ranch.
