Born and raised on an Idaho dairy farm with an active lifestyle, Katie developed a love for agriculture and the outdoors at an early age. Drawing on this passion, she is devoted to assisting businesses, families, recreationists, and producers in agricultural and rural communities with their legal needs.
Katie joined the firm as a law clerk in the summer of 2018, where she assisted the attorneys in many different practice areas as she finished her law degree. In May of 2019, Katie graduated cum laude from the University of Idaho College of Law, with her grades placing her in the top 10 of her class. Before joining Sawtooth Law Offices, Katie completed undergraduate degrees in agricultural economics and accounting with high honors. She has interned for several agribusinesses and for the Office of Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter, where she gained the skills necessary to be a well-rounded advocate for agriculture and those in allied industries.
Katie is the third generation to be actively involved in her family’s dairy and farming operations, where she completes many different tasks around the farm. In her spare time, she enjoys working on the dairy, riding her mule competitively, shooting archery, fishing, hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, riding ATVs, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
